How does Panda Social work?

Panda Social is an AI-powered chat companion. You can have conversations with Panda, who responds using artificial intelligence. Choose different Panda modes to change the personality and style of your conversations.

Why is Panda not responding or responding slowly?

Panda uses a cloud-based AI service to generate responses. Occasionally, this service may experience high demand, maintenance, or temporary outages, which can cause delays or failed responses. If this happens, please try again after a short wait. This is usually resolved quickly.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your chat history and profile data are stored locally on your device. We do not store your personal data on external servers. Your messages are sent to the AI service only to generate responses.

How do I delete my data?

Go to your Profile and tap "Delete Account." This will permanently delete all your local data, including chat history, preferences, and your profile photo. This action cannot be undone.

Why does the app need camera/microphone permissions?

Camera access is needed if you want to set a profile photo. Microphone access enables voice-related features. All permissions are optional and can be managed from your Profile or device Settings.

The AI gave me incorrect information. What should I do?

Panda's responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate. Please do not rely on Panda for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.). If you encounter inappropriate content, please report it to us.

I'm getting an error when sending messages.

This is usually caused by a temporary issue with the AI service. Please check your internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, the AI service may be experiencing downtime — please try again later.
